The Cabin offers approximately 24 square meters of thoughtfully designed space.
Its size is not about limitation.
It’s about inviting you to spend more time outside the room—
walking narrow stone paths,
watching the sea,
waiting for sunset,
and becoming part of the island.
Once a humble cowshed,
the cabin has been carefully restored while preserving its original character.
It reflects the island’s long tradition of repairing, reusing, and living gently with what already exists.
A Little Adventure

A small lookout platform rises just above the cabin roof.
Climb a little higher,
and the island slowly unfolds beneath you.
Rooftops.
Stone alleys.
The Seto Inland Sea.
The wide sky above.
It isn’t simply a viewing deck.

the irresistible desire to climb just a little higher and see the world from a different perspective.

To protect the island’s natural environment, the cabin uses an environmentally conscious wastewater system. We kindly ask guests to use the eco-friendly toiletries provided during their stay.
As evening approaches, take a short walk to the shore.
On Ogijima, watching the sunset is not a sightseeing activity.
It is simply part of everyday life.
